Virtual Breastfeeding Class April 7th

This is an in-depth, practical, hands-on breastfeeding course covering the following topics:

Anatomy and physiology of the breast, Milk Production, AAP Recommendations and benefits of breastfeeding, Getting off to a good start, Practices that support and promotes breastfeeding, Infant States, Skin-to-Skin, Feeding Cues, Positioning, LATCH, When and how often babies eat, How do you know if they are getting enough, Normal Newborn Breastfeeding Behavior, Common Breastfeeding Challenges & Complications, Difference between breast and bottle sucking, Breast Care, Nutrition for Breastfeeding Moms, Returning to Work, Hand Expression, Breast Pumps, and more!

​Includes a 35 page full-color comprehensive breastfeeding guide that will be mailed to you once you register for class. Includes an access code to an exclusive companion web app including: instructive videos, feeding logs, printable PDF check lists, web links to trusted pregnancy and breastfeeding resources and more. You will also be sent access to a private Google Drive folder containing dozens of handouts for further learning and reference. 

Class is offered virtually due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.  It is best for your learning if you have soemthing to use as a "baby". A stuffed animal will work! Also, have any breastfeeding pillow you have purchased, a couple throw/bed pillows on hand for positioning and your pump if you have already received it.
