I enjoy empowering mothers through their journey of lactation, whether that be pumping,
comfort nursing, direct nursing, or anything in between.

Nursing is not a black and white process but it’s rather the grey that makes it magnificent. I am
here to help you through this important transition in life, and to provide you with knowledge, support,
and strategies to be successful for your growing family. As a lactation consultant, I am truly
inspired by the love and labor required for success.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Detroit Mercy followed by
my Registered Nurse (RN) License. My career has progressed from staff nurse in labor and
delivery, to a postpartum charge nurse, and then to a case manager specializing in maternal
infant health. Throughout this time, my passion for lactation has only grown. This is why I made
the decision to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
This certification has allowed me to broaden my scope of practice to include breast/chest
feeding, pumping specialist, breast refusal, bottle use, solid food introduction
and much more.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and dog Lilly while hiking, playing board games,
traveling, or reading a good book.
